Building Approval Process

The process you need to know-

1. When your plans are prepared for lodgment you can simply send in the plans via email , post or bring them to our office.
2. For us to accept them, the engagement and applicable forms need to be complete with the correct fee paid. Please use the Applicants Checklist for guidance-available here.
3. Once the searches of the property have been carried out, we assess the application against the building regulations.
4. If more information is needed you will receive an information request
5. Once the information is received we can issue the building approval
6. You must then notify us of inspections for the applicable stages

• Footing
• Slab
• Frame
• Fire separation
• Final

Once you have achieved clearance you will receive a compliance certificate.
